To guarantee a hundred per cent individualization Manhattan has developed a special Manhattan Fit Box in which the insole can be polished to fit per-fectly. After a fitting time of only two minutes the Manhattan Fit Box achieves the perfect fit of each individual insole. In the Manhattan Laser Fit Box the customer’s foot is first positioned in a correct standing position without the insole. Then the respective zones of the bottomside of the insole are heated by a hot air blower which of course has to be handled with care.Then the heated insole is positioned under the customer’s foot in the Manhattan Fit Box. After an annealing time of one or two minutes the perfect fit can be controlled. Only that way a perfect fit can be guaranteed. With the help of the Manhattan Laser Fit Box the insoles can be perfectly customized as it is hardly ever the case with standard insoles.

Fitting and maintenance

General
- The Manhattan insoles are hand-washable
- The Manhattan insoles are a replacement for your existing (standard) shoe insole
- Make sure the Manhattan insole is positioned straight horizontally in your shoe
- The Manhattan insoles should not be curled inside your shoe

Fitting (front side) of the Manhattan insoles
You can use the existing standard insole of your shoe as template:
- Position the back of your existing insole to the back of the Manhattan insole
- Draw the shape of your existing (standard) insole on to the Manhattan insole
- Cut off this shape of the front side of the Manhattan insole.
- Be careful to not cut too short! The best advice is cut-fit-cut-fit-ready
- After you have cut the first Manhattan insoles you can use this as the template for the other Manhattan insoles
